Signs

From what I understand chickens are about the dumbest little beasts around, so maybe it is better that we don't bother to consult with them on motives;  we have enough motives of our own.  The question is what kind of motives do we have?    Good?  Better?  Best?

Now this has possibilities . . . you have heard of the blue bird of happiness haven't you?
A sign of the season.  A reason to celebrate. Friend Jennifer did an excellent job putting this together.
She has the spirit, let's hope it gives others the same spirit, and each one celebrates in his or her own inimitable style.  Keep Christ in Christmas and do what some folks do on Christmas Eve, they bake a birthday cake and enjoy a little party in honor of a baby that was born, lived only thirty-three years, but lives on in our minds and hearts forever.

So today keep in mind that you can bring happiness into your own life and those of others by celebrating with the traditions you were born and bred to, and make this Christmas one to remember.   There will come a day when you will sit back and think about the days of yore and you will shed a tear of two because of the many wonderful happy days you shared.   Add another to you memory bank and you will know the feeling of happy tears.   One of life's special blessings is knowing happy tears.    So practice what I 'preach' on my tiny soapbox . . . kindness, generosity, reasons to smile and reasons to cry;   caring and sharing , an open mind and heart . . . someone and something to believe in . . .    Hugs to all.
